Founded in 2008, Wesbro Communications LLC is Black and Veteran-owned niche strategic communications firm that provides personalized business consulting, marketing and media outreach services and training to small businesses, nonprofits, and local, state and federal government agencies.

As a veteran Communications Lead and Specialist for three Fortune 500 companies, Wesley has over 40 years of experience in communications. Most recent, he served as Communications Lead for defense contractor L3 Harris Corp., where is oversaw all internal and external communications for the company's Aerojet Rocketdyne subsidiary in Camden, Ark. That 1200-worker manufacturing site provides propulsion systems and energetics to the space, missile defense and strategic systems industry, including the Department of Defense and prime defense contractors such as Lockhead Martin and Northrop Grumman.

Wesley's background also includes experience as a longtime senior financial and public policy and State Capitol report, publisher and editor for several digital and print publications in central Arkansas, and a former adjunct professor in communications and journalism.

Today, Wesley is a board member of the National Inventor’s Hall of Fame in Akron, Ohio, where he serves on the business development committee for the nation’s leading nonprofit providing invention education and innovation programs and competitions. In Arkansas, he is former board member of the Arkansas Society of Professional Journalist and is currently a board member of the Arkansas Freedom of Information Task, representing the Arkansas Press Association. In that role, he is part of a state-legislature approved panel that reviews all bills related to the Arkansas Freedom of Information Act.

Angel Burt
Chief Creative Officer
As Chief Marketing Officer for Wesbro Communications LLc, Angela "Angel" Burt is one of Central Arkansas’ most versatile and talented marketing professionals, event organizers and entrepreneurs.

In her current role, Angel oversees all marketing operations for the fast-growing, Black-own communications and multimedia consulting firm whose clients include the Arkansas Health Department, Southern Bancorp, the Arkansas Delta Informer and over a dozen small business clients.
​
Burt is also the producer of the weekly BCN Headlines weekly talk shows on KABF 88.3 FM, the city's community radio show that spotlights top national, state and local news and newsmakers. Now in its third year, the weekly radio newscast also highlights local Black-owned businesses, nonprofits and diverse personalities from across the state.
​
In the business arena, Angel is director of the up-and-coming Made in Africa fashion show, where the longtime runway model oversees the international showcase event held as part of the annual Africa Day Fest in downtown Little Rock. The “Nubian-focused” fashion show features models of all talent-levels and age ranges. Designers like Korto Momolu, Freddie Reynolds and Missy Temeke also participate in the yearly event held at the Junction Bridge in the city’s River Market district.
